The Friends of the Forest, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
safeguarding the Coconino National Forest in the Sedona Area. Our mission is to
engage in community-based projects and services that promote the stewardship
and public enjoyment of the Red Rock District of the Coconino National Forest
for generations to come.
When you support the Friends of the Forest, you are making a commitment to
conservation of the land and cultural resources that are the essence our
mission. You become an active champion of the Sedona area working to make
a difference on your National Forest land.
The Friends of the Forest Sedona ’s efforts to conserve
the health and diversity of the National Forest System in the Sedona area
depends mainly on the support of its members. We offer a variety of ways that
you can contribute to our mission. As a member, you will receive our newsletter
Branching Out,
periodic email updates and our commitment to safeguarding some of the most
beautiful of America’s public lands.

Donations
In addition to membership dues, much of
the funding we receive to support the U.S. Forest Service in the Sedona area
comes from individual donations. These donations pay for physical improvements
on national forest land, such as interpretive signage, trail building
and repair, and information brochures. The U.S. Forest Service turns to Friends
of the Forest when appropriated funds are unavailable for unanticipated or
pressing needs.
Friends of the Forest, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt charitable organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your tax deductible donation can assist us in meeting these unfunded needs. You can make a donation with your membership form, or separately by sending your check payable to Friends of the Forest, Inc. to:
