Trail Maintenance and Construction Committee

The trails crew is an active, outdoor committee providing it's members the
opportunity to perform both maintenance of existing trails and construction of
new ones, as required by the priorities of the Forest Service.
An average of six to eight workers, sometimes over a dozen, turn
out each Friday morning throughout the year.
There is a great deal of expertise that goes into trail maintenance
and building and this committee provides that knowledge to new members
of the committee as they practice and develop their skills in an
atmosphere of camaraderie, mutual goals and good old-fashioned physical labor.
