SUMMARY:Native American Flute Demonstration
DESCRIPTION:Join FOF member Jim Wilson for a presentation and demonstration about native flutes at the petroglyph panel at the V Bar V Heritage Site. \nThe Sedona area has a rich history in the progression of the native flute to its present form.  This presentation will focus on an actual replica of the oldest wooden flute ever found:  the “Anasazi flute”.  Played by ancient puebloans in this area\, its image can be found on the rock walls at our Cultural Heritage sites \nA Red Rock Pass or equivalent entrance fee is required for each vehicle.  Pets are NOT permitted.  Bring plenty of water plus walking shoes\, hat and sunscreen. Jim is a student of our local Native American heritage and regularly conducts flute workshops.
