SUMMARY:First Friday Presentation - Native Fish of Central Arizona
DESCRIPTION:Arizona has nearly three dozen native fish species.  Many of these species are found only in the southwestern US\, and more than half are considered imperiled. \nLearn about desert-adapted fish from Forest Service Fish Biologist Matthew O’Neill.  He will discuss what makes these species so special\, how to identify them\, why biologists argue passionately over arcane taxonomy\, and why they are so concerned about so many of them.  Matt will also talk about where you can observe these fish and what you can do to help \nFor more information\, call 928-203-2903
