First Friday Talk: How to Make Cordage

Prime time for hiking, backpacking and enjoying Sedona’s forest resources is upon us. Learn a skill that could prove to be a useful technique for wilderness recreation and safety.

Basics of making cordage, and its many uses, will be covered. Learn how to improvise ropes, etc. from locally available materials from a local search and rescue expert.

Friday January 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Red Rock District Visitor Center, one mile south of Village of Oak Creek on Highway 179.
