Hiking Safety Presentation

February 15 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Free

With over 400 miles of trails, there are many beautiful places to explore around Sedona. Do you know how to stay safe?

Three long-term members of Friends of the Forest, all with extensive Search and Rescue experience, are here to help.

Learn what you need to know about hiker safety — how you can protect yourself, your family, and your friends from needing rescue services.

Presenters will tell you stories of actual rescue missions in and around the greater Sedona area while demonstrating how to build shelters.
